Art licensing contracts involve a percentage of total sales, usually between 20% and 30%, with a yearly renewal and cancellation penalty.
If each piece of art costs $200, this means that the artist will receive between $60 and $30 for each piece this is the exact percentage and penalty will depend on the terms of the contract.
Licensing artwork allows artists to continue creating while generating income from the use of their artwork.
